Super Convenient Location in the City

Hopscotch Bar is located at Red Dot Museum (Tanjong Pagar) and it’s obviously super convenient near the city area!
Plus the place itself is super chill, somewhere you can just have a drink with your friends, talk about life, play some games… or just sit there alone and think about your future in general (laughs).
On a more serious note, it is really really a very nice place to be at, to wind down at the end of the day.

There’s a lot of activities to do in this bar. You can get up and play with the foosball table or pick out your favourite card games to bring back to your table. It’s all free so play to your heart’s content!

Interesting Drinks at Hopscotch Bar
Moving on to their drinks. It’s the highlight of my post, and I can’t wait to share with you the number of drinks I tried that night.

Their menu is super interesting, and there are four different collections inside, according to Nic (the nice guy in the picture below).

From the first menu, we tried two drinks.

Red Ruby
RED RUBY – Angostura Light Rum, Pandan Syrup, Homemade Coconut Sorbet.
If you’re into Coconut milk, this is definitely for you!!!
I really have to give it to Hopscotch Bar for their creative plating of their drinks.

Cheap Thrill while eating the agar-agar Ang Ku Kueh.
Lunchbox Special
ARAB STREET – Tanqueray Gin, Homemade Pomegranate Syrup, Saffron Rose Water, Apple Juice, Fresh Citrus.
For someone who LOVES fruity drinks, you’ll love this! Not very good at describing drinks, but I like the tinge of rose fragrance in this!
They offer crackers alongside their drinks, and I love it too…
I always have bowls and bowls of it.

Second Collection of Cocktail
The Cartoon Pictures are shots/artwork of the actual drink itself, so you can expect the exact same plating as what is shown on the picture!

Bangkok Twister

BANGKOK TWISTER – Angostura Light Rum, Fresh Mango Puree, Kaffir Lime Leaves, Lemongrass, Lime Kuice, Thai Tea Espuma.
I really really enjoyed this one and the crazy thing is, it actually tastes like Bangkok.
I have no idea what made it so relatable to the taste of Bangkok, you gotta go try it yourself to find out hahaha but it was so intriguing I kept taking sips and sips of it just to find out what is making it taste so Bangkok.
As such, they wanted to evoke nostalgia by offering the same experience sans the mess and unpleasant odour of grill smoke lingering in your clothes and hair.
Even before it reached our table, we caught a whiff of the mouth-watering, robust smoky aroma from the delectable platter of barbecued Skewers ($1.50 – $12.90).
Melon Milk

MELON MILK – Smirnoff Vodka, Giffard Melon Liquer, Milk, Pandan Syrup, Butterscotch Schnapps.
This is such a creative drink!
It’s topped with shaved ice & oreo biscuits, perfect for those who are not into strong alcohol-tasting drinks.

The Third Collection
